I spent the weekend in Santa Monica attending the Photo LA show. Highlights included speaking with photographer Dylan Chatain about his images at the Center portfolio review and attending a lively panel discussion about collecting photobooks.
The Bay Area was represented by work from San Francisco photographer Chris McCaw as well as Charles Guice Contemporary gallery from Berkeley.
Many galleries showed large color prints, but there were also a decent number of smaller vintage pieces and new and rare books for sale.
